However, the store has pictures of their menu all over so you can just point to your order and tell them in English how many of each item you’re ordering. 🙂
While walking around Seoul, our tastebuds craved for a dessert which was not shaved ice and we stumbled upon CHAYU. Their specialty and main menu is Milk Pudding but when we tried one, it wasn’t really what we were expecting. We wanted something sweeter and more satisfying. We went for their coconut ice cream with mango topping.
The mango topping tasted like it was preserved. You know when it’s coated with syrup and tastes different from fresh fruits? That’s how it was. Philippine mangoes are really THE best. Their coconut ice cream was the perfect blend though. It’s not too creamy but melts in your mouth good. It’s not too sweet too. It’s PERFECT! It’s a bit expensive for KRW5,000 but it was definitely worth it. We came back here about 2 more times and ordered just plain coconut ice cream. ❤ Try it. I’m sure you’ll be hooked. 🙂
