First of all, you’ll definitely want somewhere to park. The front of the restaurant can only fit about 6 cars but they do have more parking at the back for about 10 more. When you think of “canto” the image that comes to mind is somewhere hidden and small. This place is definitely not that. It sits on top of a hill. It’s an all-white building with floor-to-ceiling glass windows. It’s definitely a sight to behold.

The whole restaurant can sit about 80 people. We went there for dinner and man was it packed. Peak hours is during lunch and dinner so come about 2 to 4pm and 8pm onwards to avoid the long line. If you do come at peak hours, be ready to wait for about 2 hours to be seated. They did not allow reservations when we asked.

STAFF
The staff here are all local and friendly. Even though it was packed and they were busy, they still took time to make jokes and make customers feel really at home.

FOOD
I went here with friends and we heard great stuff about Canto Bogchi’s ribs. After a day of paintball, we were all famished. No one wanted to share a plate. We each ordered a plate of their half-slab ribs (Php 245) which comes with salad and mashed potatoes or rice. Their ribs was fall-off-the-bone! This is definitely THE place for ribs in Baguio. The mashed potato with gravy was lit as well. You can also opt for their rice because the ribs tasted amazingly delicious with that too. This was an unbelievable steal!

One of my friends is allergic to a lot of things including eggs so he ordered the Grilled Chicken on Buttered Rice (Php 180). He was saying how the rice was so good, it didn’t need the chicken but the chicken made everything so much better so I guess their ribs weren’t the only selection on the menu that was yummy. 🙂

Here’s their menu for when you want to check out what they have to offer. Til next time!
